2024 HECHO Spring Advocacy Trip

Earth Day is celebrated every April 22, marking the start of the environmental movement in 1970.

For us at HECHO, the best way to honor Earth Day is by taking action to help safeguard and heal our planet! Ahead of Earth Day 2024, Hispanic Conservation Leadership Council (HCLC) members and our team traveled to Washington, D.C., advocating for protecting our public lands, including urging the Biden administration to release the final oil and gas rule, which was announced the day after we concluded our visit to the nation’s capital!
