2024 HECHO Fall Advocacy Trip

Just days before kicking off the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, HECHO brought Hispanic Conservation Leadership Council members from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Colorado to Washington, D.C., to advocate for the permanent protection of Colorado's Dolores River Canyon and Arizona's Great Bend of the Gila, for New Mexico's Pecos River, which is threatened by mining, and for the importance of the Public Lands Rule, which benefits our communities and the environment. Check out this recap video to be inspired by the work of Hispanic leadership in conservation!
