Join HECHO and other conservation and Hispanic community leaders to discuss the future of the Rio Grande over cocktails and food in an informal setting. Enjoy a special "Organ Mountains Desert Peaks" drink on the house, and a buffet-style offering from Hacienda de Mesilla. We will also be screening a new, short film produced by HECHO that highlight the stories of Hispanic water users in the Rio Grande basin.
About Cocktails & Conservation:
HECHO’s Cocktails & Conservation education series unites community members to learn about important public lands and conservation issues with a cocktail in hand. To view HECHO’s past virtual Cocktails & Conservation series, click here.
About HECHO:
Hispanics Enjoying Camping, Hunting, and the Outdoors (HECHO) partners with Hispanic Leaders to engage their communities in the conservation of our public lands and water. HECHO's unique focus centers around building the capacity and power of Hispanic elected officials and community leaders to address our conservation challenges. We want to activate and support a network of Hispanic leaders to lead an inclusive conservation movement and to protect our public lands and waters for future generations.
COVID Guidelines:
Due to COVID-19, we strongly encourage all event participants to be fully vaccinated. HECHO will be following all county guidelines. Spots are limited for this event.
